The Catch A Cure for Cancer Fishing Tournament organizing committee is pleased to announce that sponsorship opportunities are available for the upcoming event. If you know of an organization that is interested in supporting the event and the efforts to raise funds for Camp Hobe, please click here to contact us.

Sponsorship can be as simple as providing volunteers for the event, product or service donations or more comprehensive. Contact us to discuss your abilities and ideas.

All sponsorship includes prominent name affiliation on signage and the website if desired.

Another successful tournament and fund raising event for Camp Hobe. Thanks to those who participated including those who traveled from Connecticut and Wisconsin to make the tournament, the tournament winners who donated their winnings, the sponsors who donated the fantastic prizes for the raffle and each volunteer for helping to make this event a success. Just announced…………..the 10th Annual Catch A Cure For Cancer Bass & Walleye Fishing tournament has been scheduled for Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Starvation Reservoir in Duchesne, UT.

The Utah Bass Federation and a host of sponsors are proud to support the efforts of Camp Hobe’ which is a special summer camp for children being treated for cancer and their siblings.

The 2009 Catch A Cure for Cancer Bass and Walleye Fishing Tournament was another success. Held on Saturday, June 20th, over 50 participants weathered wind and rain to raise money for Camp Hobe.

2009 Fishing Tournament to be held on June 20th

The Utah Bass Federation will be hosting the Ninth Annual Catch-A-Cure for Cancer Bass/Walleye Tournament and Fundraiser, on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Starvation Reservoir. Continuing the tradition started by Jerry and Carri Schlief, Anglers will participate in a one-day bass/walleye fishing tournament.

This event has established a strong tradition for being a low-pressure day of fun, good times and generosity. Winners typically donate their prize checks to Camp Hobé, and Anglers often fish with their spouses or other family members. It’s a great environment to experience tournament fishing for the first time.

The Catch-A-Cure for Cancer Bass/Walleye Tournament and Fundraiser is a unique and wonderful opportunity to make a contribution that affects the community and the lives of children who deserve.
